    Ingredients

1 dozen chicken wings or drumettes
    4 scallions
    1/4 cup ssamjang
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    3 tbsp honey
    1 tbsp sesame seeds

    Equipment

    baking sheet
    whisk

    Preparation

Preheat the oven to 425˚ and move one of the trays to the upper rack of the oven.

Evenly space the drummettes on a baking sheet. Place the drummettes in the oven for 25 minutes.

Finely slice the scallions. Set aside for plating.
Place the ssamjang, remaining soy sauce, honey, and 1/2 a cup of water in a saucepan. Place on the lowest heat setting.

Whisk and keep on low until the chicken has finished cooking.

By now, the chicken will have cooked for 25 minutes and the exteriors will be brown.

Raise the heat to a broil and cook for 3 more minutes, flip over, and cook for 3 minutes to evenly crisp the skin.

Once the chicken has finished cooking, transfer the chicken to a bowl and cover with the ssamjang sauce. Toss.
Top the chicken with sesame seeds and scallions.
